Today's French multi-part logic puzzle is from a series we've visited before, but not lately. I chose this one in honor of my friend, and the fun we had staying up late the other night playing dominos:
At our house we're not doing the NYT crossword and wordle puzzles each day anymore, but we do always check out the spelling bee. I couldn't find a puzzle with that exact mechanism, so I've got a pair for you. The first, from Tennessee, was intended as a field puzzle:

Yesterday was the big Grateful Dead concert at Cornell, exactly 46 years after their famous appearance here in 1977. We put our names in the lottery to get a chance to buy a ticket, but were unsuccessful. We're not big Deadheads, so we weren't too disappointed. I chose this puzzle from a bit west of me in honor of the occasion:
I have a jam-packed couple of weeks coming up wrapping up the end of the semester, and I'm squeezing in a quick trip to Memphis where I'll visit my alma mater and hang out for a bit with one of my college room-mates for the first time in well over 25 years.
