Super Furry Animals - 5/14/24

I'm not sure how I came across this puzzle from the UK, but the title made me smile.  When we first moved into our house, our kids were fascinated by the "furry animal" who routinely popped up in the back yard, having taken up residence under our shed.  We later figured out that it was a woodchuck, but to this day when we see one back there (likely it's great-great-great-great grandchild) we still call it the "furry animal."  Here's another kind of:

Remember the Cinco de Mayo - 5/5/24

I just recently archived the puzzle I referred to in post below, which I'm pasting in its entirety from 8 years ago today:

Five years ago for Cinco de Mayo I placed a cache that used the Mexican Army cipher.  Here's a little history I included:  Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a holiday held on May 5 that commemorates the unlikely victory of the Mexican army over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. While Cinco de Mayo sees limited significance in Mexico itself, the date is observed mostly in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence Day (September 16), the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico.
