One of the things I have enjoyed about this puzzling hobby of mine is getting to know puzzlers by the puzzles they write and the logs they post.  On my cachecation to Florida earlier this year, I was tickled, yet surprised, to discover a familiar name in some of the logs I was signing:  ecrane.  I recognized his name because I knew he had written some fun puzzles ... in California, though, not Florida.  In honor of that fun coincidence I thought it would be great to spend a week looking at some of his California puzzles.   We'll start things off with:

One of the things I enjoy about doing this blog is seeing cases where puzzles I have posted inspire other CO's to create their own versions of those puzzles.  In a few cases, I have even been able to make finds on those 2nd (or even 3rd) generation puzzles.  Today's central New York puzzle is an example of one such puzzle I hope to be able to go and find soon:

More Figure Logic - 8/2/13

Early last month I wrote about one of my new puzzling friends and her work as a math/logic puzzle creator, and featured the first in her new logic puzzle cache series.  Since then I've been able to work through the rest of them (that have been published so far, anyway!) and was even able to go and make the finds.  These definitely got trickier as they went along, so it will be interesting to see how I do with anything harder than:
