Today's Upstate New York puzzle has snow for a theme, and although it hasn't gotten here yet, the area is bound to get plenty of the white stuff before the winter is over. I recently read that in Scotland they've documented over 400 words related to snow ... that sure beats the old unfounded claim about how many words for it there were in the Inuit language.
