Since I grew up in a state that didn't even allow Bingo, an outing to a casino (or even purchasing a lottery ticket) was always something of a guilty pleasure. When I moved to Missouri they had just determined that gambling could be allowed on riverboats (but not on dry land) so when my mother visited, we gave it a try ... we always bet very low stakes, but she was very lucky and we always had a lot of fun.
