Jigsaw Sudoku - 5/31/17

Today's puzzle takes us to California.  Some of the most popular puzzle types are jigsaw puzzles and sudoku puzzles.  So why not a puzzle that combines both?  For an even bigger challenge (at least for me) the CO could have made us put together the pieces ourselves in this:
