Well, this is my last day filling in for our
resident puzzling guru, Jennifer. I hope she’s had a restful and fun couple of
weeks and look forward to seeing stories from her break right here in the blog.
Thanks to her for letting me fill in and thanks to all of you out there for

Ol’Fogie
Now for today’s puzzle… While on a recent caching adventure in Tennessee
with yomegranate and jacktn, we were trying to score all the potential smilies
near our hotel. There were several mysteries in the area and we solved all of
them pretty quickly before bed… except one. I got up early the next morning and
headed down to the breakfast area with my laptop and ran Google through its
paces trying to determine the key. I have to admit that I never did figure out
the significance of the information as presented, but another approach did lead
me to the solution. I sent a message to the CO hoping to find out exactly to
what he was alluding, but haven’t heard back yet. And, yeah, that is me laying
on the ground peering into a drain in jacktn’s DNF log. Anyway, maybe you can
determine the true meaning in this spectrum of...

Quick update... The CO did contact me and nudged me on the significance of the colors. Thought about it a bit and slapped myself for overlooking it before. Enjoy!
