Cake - 11/2/23

Today's puzzle takes us to the start of a short puzzle series in England. I had a great plan for a birthday cake which I ordered back in September and it was supposed to arrive yesterday.  But there must have been some kind of UPS disaster so it became "undeliverable."  Looks like I need to go to plan B:
