Today's California puzzle reminded me of one of the first puzzles I tried solving here in Ithaca.  The hint mentioned Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis, and I spent quite some time figuring out how in the world there could be a Munsters connection to that puzzle.  When I finally asked the CO, he asked if I'd never heard of:
