Legends of Hockey - 9/28/11

I haven't featured a sports-themed puzzle in a while, so here is one for you today, out of Ohio.  Growing up in the south in the '70s and '80s, we didn't hear too much about hockey.  That has changed somewhat today, with teams popping up in Raleigh, Nashville, and Atlanta (although I see they'll be moving soon).   Try this puzzle, and you might learn quite a bit about some:
