It's the time of year when a lot of schools are having a "fall break" (mine isn't for another week), but this Vermont puzzle was featured here 5 years ago today:
An article by Neal Simon of the Binghamton Press & Sun Bulletin was carried in our local paper this week. The descriptions caught my eye because they were really "colorful." Here's a sample, regarding foliage in the Adirondacks: "Look for a bright display of maize, banana, daffodil, clementine, mustard, yam, burnt sienna, ginger, beet, rhubarb, raspberry, paprika, and pimento-colored leaves of above average brilliance." So If you're thinking about going leaf peeping, the prime time is getting close!
