Happy New Year! - 1/1/23

Twelve (!) years ago today I started a little experiment called Geocaching Puzzle of the Day.  In the next few days I'll reflect a little on how it's lasted this long and my hopes for the coming year, but today I'm just kicking off 2023 with a pair of puzzles.  From Canada's Alberta province:
